nut-meg: I'm an artist and an art teacher. Lots of hobbies and activities, besides art. Most of my activities involve outdoors. Kayaking, running, biking, camping, etc. When it's too cold for that, I knit, read, and things like that.

This blog is my attempt to start writing again. We shall see how that goes.

The profile picture is that of a distant and long dead relative. This photo was found when cleaning out my grandmother's attic after her death. We do not know exactly who she is, but she is a clone of me at the same age. Very eerie.
